​Dr. Nisha Chande, MD, is a distinguished Psychiatrist and Diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. With a commitment to providing expert psychiatric care, Dr. Chande offers comprehensive services for individuals struggling with various mental health conditions.

Dr. Chande earned her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan College, majoring in Biology and minoring in Neuroscience. She then pursued her medical degree at Mercer University School of Medicine, followed by a rigorous four-year Psychiatry Residency at Emory University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

With over 13 years of experience, Dr. Chande has been dedicated to serving as the psychiatrist for Kennesaw State University students. She is also a sought-after speaker, regularly presenting on "Modern Prescriptive Practices for Anxiety and Depressive Disorders" to graduating Master of Social Work students. Additionally, she provides annual updates in psychiatry to the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services and Student Health Services, offering consultations to physicians and nurse practitioners at Student Health Services.

Originally from Augusta, GA, Dr. Chande has been a resident of Kennesaw, GA, since 2008. She specializes in treating a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar spectrum disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, substance use disorders, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and ADHD.
